Daphne Villas can be found nestling in the rocky hillside in a row of 4 houses up the hill close to Elounda. There position high up above the Bay of Mirabello is nothing short of dramatic and the views are breathtaking down to Elounda and across to the island of Spinalonga in the distance. Sit and watch the boats as they ply their way around the island or just soak up the Cretan sunshine from this magical spot.

The owner cleverly constructed the villas in such a way, that you can not see from one villa to the poolside of the neighbouring villa, in order to secure absolute privacy to each of the villas. Very modern in design he has used wood, glass and natural stone to its maximum effect, ensuring a very light airy feel to the villa and complementing the views from every room.

The lower floor comprises of an air-conditioned open plan living area with a modern well fitted kitchen, which has dishwasher, microwave, a fridge and a freezer. This leads into the comfortably furnished lounge/dining room which has decorative fireplace in the corner (not in all villas available), satellite TV (limited English channels), DVD and CD player. Floor to ceiling patio doors stretch almost the width of the room leading out to a spacious balcony that overlooks the sea and the islands beyond.

Stairs lead up to the first floor and to an air-conditioned double and twin bedroom, both with balconies and those wonderful views. Each of these bedrooms shares a bathroom with bathtub.

Outside there is a shaded area with table and chairs for al-fresco dining and then steps lead down to the pool area and small garden, which has sun loungers, umbrellas and a hammock. The 9 metre free form pool, which has a depth of 1.5 metres, takes pride of place to the front of the property. This has a Jacuzzi feature and is just a perfect place to sip a cool drink and watch the magnificent sunsets over the Bay of Mirabello.
